For many years, PACK high-frequency litz wires based on enamelled copper wires have proved their worth during shaping processes, in control systems or when connecting up particularly high currents and voltages by way of electronic components.

But HF litz wires mounted to enamelled copper wires are also used extremely efficiently in new technologies such as hybrid vehicles. On-going further developments in microelectronics also provide a further sector for heavy-duty components.

Power electronics is thus the central focus of our litz-wire range. 'PACK Feindrähte' meet the demands in this sector for ever smaller, more and more efficient components by offering a very wide range of specially manufactured RUPALIT® HF litz wires for such applications as switched-mode power supply units, transformers, chokes and repeating coils.

Litz wires made of magnet wires without braiding or coating: 'PACK Feindrähte' can supply a complete range of litzwires. Besides round designs, rectangular or square cross-sections of wire are also available.

Litz-wires are manufactured to comply with the provisions of such international standards as IEC 317-0-1, IEC 317-11 and IEC 60950, or are specifically tailored to meet customer requirements.

We also offer our technical know-how for the further development as well as the redesign of transformers. In co-operation with a German university, eddy-current losses from skin- effects and proximity-effects in winding systems can be calculated and plotted as so-called three-dimensional readings by using specially developed software. In addition, particular attention is paid not only to the losses occurring inside these highfrequency litz wires, but also to interaction processes with neighbouring litz wires within the winding structure itself.
